Patient Resources for Kidney Disease and Treatment Options

If you have been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), it is important to know that you are not alone and that you have options.

Learning all you can about your options helps you to make the right decisions for your health. Fresenius Medical Care's Treatment Options Programs (TOPs) are educational sessions offered free of charge to patients and their family members.

Every TOPs session is conducted by experts in kidney care who will review with you and your family members ALL of the options available for renal replacement therapy: hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, treatment location (in-center or at home) and kidney transplant.
