Overview: Key Areas of Research
As the world’s largest provider of dialysis services for patients with end stage renal disease, Fresenius Medical Care’s Clinical and Scientific Research Organization is uniquely positioned to meet the evolving needs of both our research partners and our study participants. With an unsurpassed history of superior research performance, we lead the field in bringing a wide range of clinical trials to our patients, whether industry sponsored or investigator initiated. The Clinical Studies Group brings their in-depth view of the ESRD and CKD patient population to their research work, making them the clear preferred choice in nephrology research.
We work with more than 200 nephrology Principal Investigators who are trained in GCP and have dedicated, experienced study coordinators. Our model fosters compliance with state and federal guidelines, as well as protocol adherence and timely completion of data collection. Our investigators have experience with all phases of clinical research, with focus on phase I to IV trials.
We are also available to assist investigators who wish to design and implement their own research projects.
