Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager will manage the monthly accounting close and the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including the timely resolution of any balance sheet account issues.  Supervise the preparation and timely filing of sales/use and property tax returns for multiple states.  Supervise the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, including accounts receivable reports, to ensure that information is accurate, timely and in compliance with GAAP.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of 6 years accounting experience with 3 years supervisory experience.  Expert knowledge of spreadsheet, accounting, and word processing software.  SAP experience a plus.    

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting. 

Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant
Perform general Accounts Receivable accounting duties in compliance with Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP).  
Participates in billing group training to maintain concise and coordinated A/R functions between the billing group and regional accounting office
Respond to inquiries from the billing groups concerning A/R problems and A/R system procedures
Review A/R transactions submitted to regional accounting office for processing, including write-offs, contractual adjustments, charge entries, overpayments,
etc.
Reconcile Accounts Receivable system to GL system
Monthly reconciliation of A/R balance sheet accounts, including the timely resolution of reconciling items
Review financial statements and A/R related reports, such as, A/R Suspense Account and Bad Debt Profile  
Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable reports in compliance with Corporate reporting requirements and in compliance with GAAP
Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of two years direct A/R experience in a medical facility or large group practice.
Proficiency in Excel, required.
Experience with automated A/R and G/L systems, preferred.  

SAP, Medical Manager and Proton experience, a plus.
Experience with a decentralized, multi-unit organization, a plus.  

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting or Finance required.

Accounting Supervisor

Accounts Receivable Supervisor
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that A/R receipts, write-offs, unreconciled payments and Medicare credit balance reports are processed and accounted for properly in compliance with Corporate and Regulatory policy.  Supervise preparation and ensure integrity of monthly A/R entries and reports, including bad debt provision and reserve, A/R days, revenue analyses, and collection analyses.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of 4 years accounting experience with 1-year supervisory experience.  Functional knowledge of spreadsheet, accounting, word processing, and medical billing software.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or 5 years related work experience in a healthcare environment performing regulatory accounting functions.  
 

Accounts Payable Supervisor
The Accounts Payable Supervisor will supervise Accounts Payable clerks, ensuring that accounts payable vouchers are properly authorized, adequately documented, and paid in accordance with corporate policy and procedure.  This position also supervises the check disbursement function, ensuring that checks are safeguarded and recorded appropriately.  Ensure that necessary accounting entries are prepared, required reports are processed, reconciliation's performed and records maintained. 

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or 2 years business experience with 1-year supervisory experience.
Functional knowledge of accounting, spreadsheet and word processing software a must. 
SAP experience a plus.


EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in business or Accounting; or equivalent business experience. 


Acute Coordinator
Provide dialysis services to all hospitalized patients as prescribed by physician(s); ensure the provision of quality patient care in the most efficient manner in accordance with company policy; provide coordination and supervision of acute care staff. Ensure all acute treatments are performed in contracted hospitals. Provide patient education and counseling to new chronic patients and their families during hospitalization, including “options of modality” selection. Participate in meetings/programs pertinent to administrative, medical, technical, and Q.A. review of the Acute Care Program. Provide hospital specific Q.A. information as appropriate. Provide on-going in-service education to appropriate hospital staff. Perform written staff evaluations, based on routine observations of appropriate technique and adherence to company procedure.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of one year medical-surgical or ICU-CCU nursing experience preferred.
Minimum of one year of Hemodialysis experience plus 6 months experience in an acute setting.
Peritoneal dialysis experience required where program exists.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Successful completion of training course in theory and practice of Hemodialysis. 
CPR certified.

EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.).
Current appropriate state licensure.


Acute Charge Nurse
Ensure provision of quality patient care on a daily basis and supervise the direct patient care staff.  In this position you will maintain overall shift operation in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, conduct staff meetings at least monthly or as needed to keep patient care staff informed of changes in patient needs or operations to improve delivery of care.  Meet routinely with the Director of Nursing Services to discuss personnel and patient care status, issues, and information.  Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments appropriately.  Perform written staff evaluations in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.  Recommend and initiate disciplinary action in conjunction with the DON Services.  Act as a resource person for staff members.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of six months experience in Hemodialysis.
One-year experience in medical surgical nursing preferred.
Supervisory or management experience preferred.
Certified in CPR or successfully complete course in CPR certification.

EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.).
Current appropriate state licensure.

Acute RN
Provide dialysis services to all hospitalized patients as prescribed by physicians, ensure the provision of quality patient care in the most efficient manner in accordance with Company policy; provide coordination and supervision of acute care staff.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Min. 1 year medical-surgical of ICU-CCU nursing experienced preferred.
Min. 1-year hemodialysis experience preferred.

Administrative Assistant
Assist in the day-to-day management and operation of designated FMCNA facilities in order to maintain standards as established by the Company. Assist in the integration of long and short-term business plans for a designated group of facilities. Assist the Administrator and Patient Accounts Manager in the accounts receivable function, specifically concentrating on the area of proper funding information. In conjunction with Chief Technician, insure maintenance of medical equipment with documentation required by FMCNA Management and Federal regulations. Participate in personnel activities at the direction of Administrator, which may include policies and procedures, recruitment and placement, performance evaluation, wage and salary compensation, employee relations, and maintenance of employee files. Respond to routine correspondence as requested. Other duties as directed by Administrator.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Previous experience in a service related business environment with a working knowledge of financial procedures helpful.
Supervisory experience a plus.

EDUCATION
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience required.

Administrative Secretary
This position is responsible for general office and secretarial duties for Regional AR Manager and billing groups.  Performs general office duties, which include answering and directing phone calls, sorting and distributing mail, Xeroxing and filing.  Performs secretarial duties, which include typing, correspondence and reports.  Completes forms and reports.  Maintains filing system.  Maintains inventory of office forms and supplies.  Prepares purchase orders and manages resulting accounts payables.  Logs and maintains other records of various write-off packages.  Prepares collection agency packages and forwards them as appropriate.  Maintains personnel records of staff, prepares forms for personnel changes.  Schedules appointments and arranges meetings and conferences, including meals as necessary.  Makes travel arrangements through Corporate Travel. Prepares associated expense reports.  Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
High school graduate or equivalent.

EDUCATION
One-year minimum in administrative secretarial work.
Strong word processing skills, computer literate.
Excel skills preferred.

Admissions Coordinator
Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Coordinates incoming referral calls and admissions for patients in a specific area. Responsible for ensuring required demographic, financial, referral, clinical, and other admission date is colleted, completed and communicated per FMCNA policies and procedures. Assists in local marketing to potential referral sources in accordance with the FMCNA Compliance Program thus contributing to the growth of the facilities in the area. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, and all regulatory and FMS policy requirements.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
Responsible for driving the FMS culture through customer service standards.
Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers, including patients, staff, physicians, Business Unit and Corporate personnel, and vendors.
Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication with all customers.
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.
Obtains necessary patient information-clinical, financial and demographic - from referral agency to initiate admissions process.  Interviews patient or patient's representative or referral source to obtain the necessary personal and financial data to determine eligibility for admission.
Completes the preliminary paperwork and standard admissions forms to ensure efficient admissions process.
Works closely with applicable billing groups to request and obtain insurance verification in a timely manner.
Communicates with individual clinics to ensure medical record approval and prompt scheduling of patients.
Coordinates with facility staff and region management to effectively resolve issues impacting a patient's admission process.
Immediately reports any admission denial s from clinic and billing groups to the Regional Vice President. Patients and/or referral source will not be informed of a denial without RVP approval.

OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONS
Prepares accurate records and documentation for the admissions and transfer process.
Forwards necessary papers and records to appropriate receiving facilities.
Maintains database of records for admissions and transfers of FMCNA patients.
Assists with marketing functions and tasks to promote the local facilities to referral sources.
Marketing functions may include:
Coordinating direct mail campaigns by defined areas;  
Developing, maintaining, and providing a current referral source mailing list;
Coordinating the relevant mailings
Obtaining (with appropriate approval) relevant materials and office supplies for the mailing campaigns.
Responsible for follow-up calls for the direct mail campaign and the fulfillment of materials as requested.
Establishes appropriate relationships with prospective referral sources.
Develops and maintains databases of prospective referral sources.
 

Area Manager
Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, values and philosophy. Responsible for running a dialysis business within a defined group of facilities through effective leadership and management of all aspects of customer service, quality patient care, marketing of FMS and financial management. Maintains profitability while adhering to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and FMS policy requirements. Responsible for profit and loss management of each assigned facility/programs including optimal performance of facility operations to achieve or exceed budgets and key performance indicators.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
At least 2 years experience in managing and leading groups, preferably in healthcare. Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position, including excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation, team building, motivating employees, performance management, and decision making. Demonstrated management skills necessary to provide leadership in the supervision of dialysis personnel and to ensure the delivery of maximum quality care to all patients. Must complete Clinical Manager training modules and ongoing training and development programs within the specified time line. Maintains knowledge of technical and clinical aspects of the dialysis business.

EDUCATION
Bachelor Degree in healthcare or business related field, or RN degree.
Advanced education preferred.

Assistant Nurse Manager - Renal Research Institute
Assists the Nurse Manager in the coordination of nursing care on a shift basis within a specific unit.  Assists with the supervision of all nursing activities related directly or indirectly to patient care.  Assists in coordinating the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing regimen for patients within a given unit.  Coordinates staff activities in the performance of the nursing process.  Participates in the Patient Classification system.  Participates in patient care conferences.  Evaluates current and changing needs of the nursing unit and makes recommendations to the Nurse Manager.  Participates in the planning, development and implementation of alternative approaches to the delivery of nursing care.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
2 years experience. 

EDUCATION
B.S. in Nursing Preferred.
Valid New York State License.

Assistant to FMS Vice President
Support FMCNA's mission, vision, values and customer service philosophy.  Provide administrative support to the FMS Vice President.  Duties include general clerical/secretarial and project based work.  Promote and facilitate the advancement of FMS culture and core values through customer service standards.  Answer and respond to telephone calls in the appropriate manner.  Maintains confidentiality regarding employees and business reports at all times.  Prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials such as presentations, as required.  Complete forms and reports as required by the Regional Area, Business Unit, and Corporate offices, as well as State and Federal Agencies.  Assist in meeting planning at a regional/business level.  Prepare business reports as requested in an accurate and timely manner.  Set up travel arrangements for he Vice President and other management personnel as directed.  Maintain the Vice President's calendar - scheduling appointments and maintaining itineraries.  Prepare accurate and timely expense reports.  Maintain and update relevant files and records as necessary.  Create and maintain Excel and other databases as well as organizational charts.  Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of 2-4 years of secretarial or business experience with good typing, word processor and computer skills.

Audit Clerk
 Maintain open and closed U/P files.  Process refunds.  Assist with other duties as time permits.  File all Overpayment Packages that are received monthly.  Note: An average of 2,500 overpayment packages are received monthly from the billing groups.  Data entry of overpayment refunds into SAP and Medical Manager.  Prepare Airborne packages for U/P letter notification.  Assist Audit Staff with auditing U/P packages.  Pull packages for refunds.  Assist with gathering information for Medicare cost report audits.  Other duties as assigned.

Billing Group Supervisor
Responsible for daily operations of the billing group, including staff supervision and training, office management and other duties under the direction of the Patient Account Manager.  Assign A/R tasks/ functions to Senior Patient Account Reps. and Patient Account Reps. based upon established job descriptions.  Oversee and supervise responsibilities of Patient Account Representatives.  Ensure that adequate training is provided for new staff and that on-going training occurs for existing staff so that all A/R functions are adequately covered.  Evaluate the performance of A/R staff and prepare performance evaluations.  Perform all payroll/ personnel record processing including preparation of weekly payrolls, PTO reconciliations, and payroll record maintenance forms.  Supervise office management, including accounts payable, reception, mail/postage, and equipment maintenance repair.  Supervise collections/reimbursement functions as designated by Patient Account Manager.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Four years experience in a business environment, including experience with Accounts Receivable, collections, bookkeeping/accounting; strong knowledge of third party billing, previous supervisory experience required.  

EDUCATION
High School graduate; college degree preferred.

Business Unit Compliance Officer
Actively participates in and supports the development, implementation and evaluation of FMCNA’s Compliance Program within the Business Unit or Specialized Program. Working through business unit management, directs, oversees and monitors the successful implementation of the Compliance Program of the Business Unit or Specialized Program, as established by business unit, divisional and/or corporate compliance departments. Is expected to exercise sufficient independence and autonomy to ensure all compliance concerns are appropriately assessed and resolved. Oversees compliance with federal, state and local regulations; payer reimbursement requirements; and Company policies, procedures and guidelines, supporting the integration of compliance activities within general operational processes. Participates in, or takes direct responsibility for facilitating the resolution of compliance inquiries from external parties, such as concerns from insurance companies regarding the reimbursement rules for claim submission and medical documentation, in conjunction with Directors of Reimbursement or billing group managers.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
At least 5 or more years experience in dialysis, with management experience in field operations, clinical services or billing and reimbursement. Previous experience at the Regional or Area level preferred. Demonstrated abilities to develop policies and procedures, present to both large and small audiences, and communicate positively to members of management or external parties to implement program initiatives or resolve conflict. Must complete the Business Unit Compliance Officer Orientation Program. Must have excellent computer skills.

EDUCATION
Completion of an undergraduate degree or professional healthcare licensure program. Advanced education preferred.

Business Unit Director of Managed Care and Marketing
Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, values and philosophy.  Adheres to the FMC Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and FMS policy requirements. Directs organization's activities of strategic planning, evaluation, coordination, and implementation of various managed health care programs (HMOs, PPOs, POS, etc). Oversees Business Unit's contractual relationships with managed care organizations and other third party payors regarding rate structures for services, clinical and financial reporting obligations, establishment of other business terms per the FMC Guidelines, contract maintenance such as facility list updates and amendments. Develops and directs regional marketing efforts to third party payors in order to support growth and profitability in the region.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
At least 5 years of extensive, direct experience in contract negotiation.
5 years direct operational experience in a multiple site outpatient facility setting including profit and loss responsibility.
3 years direct supervisory experience.
Competency with standard business computer systems.
Ability to manage databases and provide analysis.

EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Health Management.
Preferred: Advanced Degree in Business or Management.

Business Unit Vice President of Quality
Directs and coordinates activities of the quality teams: RQMs, RTMs, and RAI, and collaborates with the Corporate Vice President of Clinical Quality Management and Medical Director in formulating and administering quality management policies by performing the following duties personally or through appropriate delegation. Participates in formulating and administering clinical quality management policies, developing long-range goals and objectives particularly related to clinical outcomes, and implementing steps necessary to achieve appropriate outcomes. Ensures that corporate quality standards and outcomes are achieved on the business unit level. Acts as the Business Unit's liaison with the corporate medical department and other business unit quality personnel. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Reports business unit QI activities, outcomes, and issues as requested.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Demonstrated quality management and improvement experience.
A minimum of ten years of nephrology nursing experience, including dialysis.
Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
Adult teaching experience.
Project management experience.
Supervision experience.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree and RN required.
Masters in business, health care administration, or nursing preferred.

Care Manager-RRI
The care manager serves as the coordinator and facilitator of the Renal Care Management program. Working under the direction of the Nephrologist, the Care manager fulfills the program's mission through the coordination of multiple disciplines on behalf of meeting the needs of the PRE-DIALYSIS and ESRD patient population. This position, by utilizing the nursing process, assures that positive patient outcomes are achieved for a respective patient caseload. Care managers' focus on prevention, health education, coordination of outpatient services and outpatient encounters that prevent complications and acute encounters. They track patient demographics, patient satisfaction and access to the ORC system, utilization of services, quality of care, costs and clinical outcomes. Care managers are the link between the member, the nephrologists, the healthcare team, external community providers, the payer and Claims administration.  The care manager is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives and policies of the facility and Optimal Renal Care.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Recent one-year experience in nephrology or dialysis nursing.
5 years in dialysis, transplant or nephrology/endocrinology health care environment. 
Care management skills including population oversight, problem solving, telephone triage, meeting organization and facilitation, referral authorization, etc. Working knowledge of automated systems.  Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient orientation. 
Strong communication and group facilitation skills. 
Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel both verbally and in writing. 
Computer application skills. 
Knowledge base to include: Pre-ESRD and ESRD and treatment modalities; Medicare Regulations; Population and Care Management; Team management concepts; Dialysis and transplant; Quality management; Computer systems.

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
Masters Degree Preferred.

Case Aide
Provides support for the Social Services Department.  Supports the FMCNA mission, values, and customer service philosophy.  Adheres to all requirements of the FMCNA Compliance Program, and FMS patient care and administrative policies.  Assist social worker (MSW) in obtaining necessary patient information from referral sources.  Assist MSW with patient admissions process.  Maintain copies of all insurance cards in patient file.  Under direction of MSW, assist in obtaining necessary documentation from patient to complete indigent waiver/payment agreement for patients without complete coverage and update as necessary.  Assist patients with interpreting bills, notices, forms, etc.  Work collaboratively with Billing and MSW to ensure patient receives accurate information.  Assist patients with travel or transfer to other dialysis facilities.  Collect and forward all necessary paperwork to receiving facilities for transfer or transient patients.  Advise Billing of insurance and/or address changes.  Maintain current file of spend-down information for Medicaid patients.  Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Basic knowledge of third party billing and collections.
Dialysis experience helpful.
Basic computer knowledge and typing skills.

EDUCATION
Associates degree in Human Services, or Secretarial or Business school preferred.
Basic dialysis theory training.

Case Manager
Assist Home Training Supervisor or DON, in the identification, evaluation, and training of candidates for the home dialysis program. Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to the patients training and treatment. Ensure that the information is documented appropriately in the individual patient record and entered into the Proton System. Responsible for ongoing monitoring, assessment and intervention for home patients including: home visits, clinical appointments, additional training sessions or reviews, lab studies and annual studies such as x-ray and EKG. Responsible for compliance with patient supply procedures, appropriate documentation and ensuring maintenance of all durable medical equipment, i.e., preventative maintenance, water analysis. Perform monthly chart audits and report results to supervisor. Monitor the Peritonitis Rate and PET Test results. Report the outcomes to the attending physician(s) and the Quality Assurance Committee. Under the direction of the Home Training Supervisor or DON responsible for making changes in patient treatment plans in conjunction with the physician. Responsible for scheduling back-up treatment when necessary in collaboration with Home Training Supervisor/DON and physician.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of one-year Hemodialysis experience.
Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred.
Successfully complete CPR Certification and maintain annually.

EDUCATION

Centralized Technical Program Manager
Responsible for the overall operation, condition, maintenance, and repair of all water treatment and medical equipment, as well as mechanical/electrical systems so as to ensure safety of the patients as well as the staff operating the equipment throughout the centralized technical program area. Oversees the inventory control and regulatory compliance functions and ensures suitable measures are taken to maintain facilities appropriately.  Supervises, schedules, and trains staff in centralized program to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service to customers/facilities.  Supports the FMCNA mission, vision, values, and customer service philosophy.  Adheres to all the requirements of the FMCNA Compliance program, and FMS patient care and administrative policies.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of 3 years of Dialysis Technical/Mechanical supervisory experience.
Successful completion of the FMCNA Training Program for Technical Staff.  
Successful completion of Technical Validation Program exam A within 12 months of new position, completion of entire Technical Validation Program with 24 months of new position or equivalent.

EDUCATION
Associates degree in electronics, Bio Medical Engineering or equivalent preferred.

Charge Nurse

Chief Technician
Responsible for the overall operation, condition, maintenance, and repair of all water treatment equipment, medical equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems so as to ensure safety of the patients as well as the staff operating the equipment. Also responsible for reuse, inventory, and housekeeping. Have knowledge and proficiency in the initiation and shut down of all equipment in the facility. Have a comprehensive knowledge of the function and safe operation of back-up water treatment equipment and related mechanical and electrical systems. Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program including support documentation for all water treatment equipment, medical equipment, and related mechanical and electrical systems.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of two years of Technical/Mechanical experience. Successful completion of the BMA Reuse and Equipment Technician Training Program. Successful completion of Technical Validation Program exam A within 18 months from date of hire and parts B and C within 36 months for newly hired employees. For current employees promoted from equipment technician must have successfully completed the Technical Validation Program. Proven verbal and written skills. Clinical Manager

Dialyzer R&D Product Development Manager
Under general supervision of Dialyzer R&D Manager engineering group manager participates in research and development to lead the development of innovative products and improve current products for patients with end-stage-renal-disease (ESRD).  Act as primary point of contact and leader for project teams in relation to managed products. Develop detailed engineering specifications for major engineering projects.  May supervise one or more R&D engineers.  Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work. 

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
3+ years related experience.  MUST have 3+ years experience as a project manager.
MUST have 3+ years experience in the medical products industry bringing products from conception to market.

Educational Coordinator
Ensure quality patient care through education of new and existing employees. Familiar with policies, procedures, catalogs and instruction manuals for the facility’s equipment. Knowledge of the function and safe operation of back-up water treatment equipment and related mechanical and electrical systems. Safely perform water treatment system maintenance and quality control testing. Shared responsibility with Direct Patient Care staff for the start up and shut down of the facility’s equipment under management’s direction. Knowledge of the operations of equipment in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and procedures established by BMA Clinical/Technical Services. Knowledge in the preparation, dispensing and proper labeling of dialysate concentration solutions.

Field Systems Administrator
Position is responsible for supporting approximately 200 remote locations, administering a local NT server, and providing desktop support.  General duties include performing technical and administrative work in the installation of new and existing computer-based systems. Conferring with end users to determine types of hardware and software required. Reviewing and evaluating business systems and user needs to ensure that systems conform to overall business strategies of Fresenius Medical Services (FMS).  Also responsible for the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, desktop computers, hardware and software, operating systems and distributed printers. Home Care Nurse
Provide education and follow-up to patients selecting the option of home dialysis.  Provide pre-ESRD education to all patients requiring renal replacement therapy as directed by the Home Dialysis Services Supervisor.  Responsible for ongoing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and education of patients with ESRD who have elected Home Dialysis Services.  Responsible for educating the patient on all aspects of home dialysis, including end stage renal disease, diet, medications, dialysis concepts, how to perform procedures, expected results, and any complications which may occur.  Assess that patient has learned the above by proper demonstration and/or verbal response before release from formal training.  Function as a Modality Selection Consultant.  Responsible for making adjustments and modifications to the dialysis treatment as indicated or prescribed by the physician.  Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to patient treatment.  The information is documented appropriately in the individual patient record.  Responsible for reporting any significant information or change in patient condition to the Home Dialysis Services Supervisor (if applicable), physician, social worker, and/or dietitian, as appropriate.  Capable of trouble-shooting equipment problems with the patient via telephone communication.

Purpose and Scope

Home Training RN
Assist Home Training Supervisor or DON, in the identification, evaluation, and training of candidates for the home dialysis program.  Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to the patients training and treatment.  Ensure that the information is documented appropriately in the individual patient record and entered into the Proton System.  Responsible for ongoing monitoring, assessment and intervention for home patients including: home visits, clinical appointments, additional training sessions or reviews, lab studies and annual studies such as x-ray and EKG.  Responsible for compliance with patient supply procedures, appropriate documentation and ensuring maintenance of all durable medical equipment, i.e., preventative maintenance, water analysis.  Perform monthly chart audits and report results to supervisor.  Monitor the Peritonitis Rate and PET Test results.  Report the outcomes to the attending physician(s) and the Quality Assurance Committee.  Under the direction of the Home Training Supervisor or DON responsible for making changes in patient treatment plans in conjunction with the physician.  Responsible for scheduling back-up treatment when necessary in collaboration with Home Training Supervisor/DON and physician.

This position will provide direct patient care for assigned patient(s).  Perform all technical aspects of dialysis procedures for assigned patients as prescribed.  Administer and monitor treatments in accordance with current treatment plan or as directed by the supervisor.  Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on dialysis flow sheets.  Document other information related to the care of the patient in the individual patient record.  Responsible for reporting any significant information, change in patient condition, or equipment problems to the supervisor.  Assist in developing and following the teaching plan to educate the patient and family regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medications.  Assist with all emergency operational procedures.  Administer intravenous medication in accordance with Physician orders and state nurse practice laws.  Perform and document pre, interim and post treatment review of patient condition.  Initiate basic CPR measures in the event of cardiac and/or pulmonary arrest and respond to emergency situations related to dialysis treatment.

Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN).

Maintenance/Process Engineer - DPD
The Engineering/Maintenance Manager position will replace the Process Engineer position.  This person will have reporting responsibility for the three Maintenance Operators.  In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for administering the Preventive Maintenance program for the facility.  This position will also work with the Plant Manager and QS areas to identify, justify, and execute capital projects and operating improvements for the facility.  Qualified candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair or know how to repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, as well as be able to formulate process improvements, document arguments for capital or expense expenditures, and carry the improvements through to validated startup.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years plant processing experience, preferably in a regulated environment.

Managed Care Contracting Assistant
Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, values and philosophy.  Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and FMS policy requirements. Responsible for credentialing and reporting for all facilities in the Business Unit. Responsible for assisting with the contracting process for multiple payers and for implementing databases and performing monthly and quarterly analyses. 

This position will be in charge of all aspects of credentialing of current and new facilities for the Business Unit.   Responsibilities will include collecting all credentialing information and applications, conduct re-credentialing to ensure all facilities maintain a participating status with the Payors and analysis if financial terms of contracts, review of contract language and communication to all payors.

Manager of Home Therapies
Position reports to the Director of Home Therapies and is responsible for supporting all aspects of the home dialysis business within a defined region of the East Bay and Northern California area. To include growing the FMS Home Therapies program through effective leadership and management of all aspects of customer service, quality patient care, growth and marketing of FMS home therapies while adhering to the FMC Compliance, and all regulatory and FMS policy requirements.

Responsible for supporting FMS Home Therapies quality standards through meeting all ESRD regulatory requirements; implements Regional and Area quality goals and action plans as appropriate; coordinates implementation of Kidney Options Programs and Home Therapies initiatives with field operations to ensure every dialysis facility has access to such programs; trains Area Managers and others as needed on Kidney Options, home therapy technology and all FMS Home Therapies initiatives and assists in and coordinates the training of new Home Therapies patient care employees with the Regional Director of Education.

Accountable for analysis and tracking growth of all Home Therapies initiatives and patient census and reporting to field management; supports the development of new Home Therapies programs; identifies opportunities to grow home therapies in collaboration with the directors of Physician Services, the Regional Vice Presidents and the Area Managers and coordinates the implementation of Home Therapies growth initiatives and assists in the development of an Area level Home Therapies growth plan including analysis of the local market and prioritization of growth and development opportunities.

Manager of Revenue Support
In the role of the Manager Revenue Support you will be in charge of managing all aspects of the commercial revenue function for our Business Unit located in Arizona.  The successful person will monitor, analyze, and evaluate all pertinent financial and marketing data in a timely fashion. This person will also track, detail, and follow-up on all commercial revenue including coordination dates for lost and new commercial patients.
This position will be in charge of managing all aspects of the commercial revenue function for the Business Unit located in Atlanta, Georgia.  Responsibilities will include monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating all pertinent financial and marketing data in a timely manner, as well as, tracking, detailing and follow-up on all commercial revenue including coordination dates for lost and new commercial patients.

Mechanical Technician
Under supervision is responsible for the operational condition, maintenance, and repair of all water systems, medical equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems in assigned facilities in the Centralized Technical Program so as to ensure the safety of the patients as well as the staff operating the equipment.  Responsible for cost containment with regard to equipment maintenance and repair.  Supports the FMCNA mission, vision, values, and customer service philosophy.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
At least six months experience working in a technical (industry/medical) setting.
Must demonstrate organizational and leadership skills, including those required to problem-solve in a medical, health care environment.

Medical Records Consultant
Consultant shall aid BMA in the establishment of and ongoing maintenance and preservation of the facility medical records.  Consultant will work with BMA's Medical Records Supervisor toward the achievement of the following goals: Ensure that the records are documented, completed and maintained in accordance with accepted professional standards and practices, Safeguard the confidentiality of the records in accordance with established policy and legal requirements, Ensure that the records contain pertinent medical information and are filed for easy retrieval.  If necessary, Consultant shall participate in staff relating to medical records policies and procedures.  BMA and the Consultant agree that their relationship is that of independent contractors and not as employer and employee.  This is a contracted service.  Must be registered/certified Medical Records Consultant.  Rate/visit negotiable.  1 visit/yr to each of the 23 clinics in the Houston Region.

Nocturnal Dialysis Nurse - Part-Time (30 hours)
In center nocturnal dialysis RN - 3 nights per week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.)  Provide direct patient care for assigned patients and assist in the care of other patients as needed.  Perform all technical aspects of dialysis procedures.  Assess patients' response to dialysis therapy and make appropriate adjustments and modifications to the treatment plan as indicated or directed by the supervisor or as prescribed by the Physician.  Assess patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and document findings.   Administer medications as ordered to assigned patients.  Responsible for assessing educational needs of patient and educating the patient and family regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications.

Successful completion of a training course in theory and practice of Hemodialysis.

Operations Analyst
The Operations Analyst will coordinate managed facility and acquisition accounting, including preparing accounting entries and analyses, preparing account reconciliation's, reviewing financial reports and resolving questions about accounting issues with appropriate facility, financial office and corporate staff.  Provide training and support to acquired and managed facility staff to assist in establishing accounting procedures in compliance with division and corporate policy as well as with any management or acquisition agreements.  Ensure that accounting procedures are in place to comply with acquisition and managed facility management contracts and agreements, including preparing any necessary financial reports.  Prepare analyses and presentation for business unit management staff to support acquisition activity.  Support Senior Operations Analyst and Ops Analysis Accountants in budget, forecast and cost reporting and in providing support to business unit management.

Patient Accounts Manager
The Patient Accounts Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the A/R Department.  The Patient Accounts Manager works closely with Administrators and the Area Manager to assure the effectiveness of the Accounts Receivable for the facilities assigned to the Business Office.  Assigns A/R tasks/functions to Senior A/R Clerks and A/R Clerks based upon established job descriptions; insures that cross training is performed and that all A/R Functions are adequately covered.  Establishes mechanisms to coordinate timely and effective flow of information between facilities and the Business Office.  Establishes and maintains effective controls to ensure that billing/insurance information is updated routinely and that claim forms are accurately prepared and mailed on a timely basis.  Reviews routine follow-up activities (of unpaid claims) performed by A/R clerks for effectiveness; sets performance measurements to improve collections performance; assumes responsibility for the resolution of problem accounts.

Four years experience in a business environment, including experience with Accounts Receivable, collections, bookkeeping/accounting; strong knowledge of third party billing, previous supervisory experience required.

Patient Account Representative
Maintain less than 90 days for all AR outstanding for assigned payer classes. Report on paid claims, Enter Account Notes for all open claims, keep management informed of payer issues resulting in delay of reimbursement, verify active insurance coverage on all patients as follow-up is completed, work with patients and/or facility staff as necessary to resolve payer/payment issues ( escalate to Management as needed.  Review and transmission of Medicare EMC's for all facilities (includes review of Systems Review Report and Temporary Absence Report)

Peritoneal Dialysis Coordinator
Functions as part of the Home Therapies dialysis health care team as the Coordinator of Home Therapies for a defined geographic area.  Ensures provision of quality home patient care in accordance with FMS policies, procedures, and training. Responsible for growing the assigned Home Therapies program in coordination with the Business Unit management and support functions.  Supports the FMCNA mission, vision, values, and customer service philosophy.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of dialysis therapies.
Competent at operating all Home Therapies related equipment.
Maintains current knowledge in the operation of such equipment, including hemodialysis machines, water treatment systems, peritoneal dialysis machines and patient assist devises.
Successfully complete CPR Certification with maintenance as required.
Icd-9 coding Training.
Demonstrated leadership skills including, but not limited to communication, customer service, performance management and continuous quality improvement.

Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse (R.N.)
Responsible for ongoing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and education of patients with ESRD who have elected the Home Dialysis Program. Responsible for educating the patient on all aspects of home dialysis, including end stage renal disease, diet, medications, dialysis concepts, how to perform procedures, expected results, and any complications which may occur. Asses that patient has learned the above by proper demonstration and/or verbal response before release from formal training. Function as a Modality Selection Consultant as directed by the PD Supervisor. Responsible for making adjustments and modifications to the dialysis treatment as indicated or prescribed by the physician. Order training supplies for the patient’s training and dialysis supplies to be delivered to the patient’s home.

Minimum of one-year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Project Manager-DPD
This position will provide product clinical expertise to industry users through direct communications and production of support materials.

Project Manager
We are looking for a qualified candidate to support FMCNA's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy.  Also, adhere to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and FMS policy requirements.  
The Project Manager will take leadership role in building our dialysis clinics.  Manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment from conception to post occupancy.  Coordinate with internal and external architects, real estate professionals and mange the construction process.  This position is responsible for managing maintenance and repair work associated with operating facilities.

Minimum 3 years experience in Project Management, or equivalent.  
Background in construction, design or engineering.

Process Engineer
Strong background in Electrical Engineering and Allen-Bradley programming.  This individual should have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering field and a minimum of 5 years electrical experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.  This candidate must be highly motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.

Quality Systems Laboratory Services Sr. Manager
Manage overall operation of laboratories involved in evaluating levels of contamination in raw materials, intermediates, final products, the process and manufacturing environment. Maintain oversight of all manufacturing activities from laboratory perspective to insure compliance and good manufacturing practice. Manage special projects in product or process improvement and maintain expertise in validations, sterilization, methods development and quality issues. Manage subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the Microbiology, Chemistry and Dialyzer QS Laboratories, Inspection and Stability programs, and Quality Systems Research Projects. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Regional Director of Education
Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy.  Directly supervises the Education Coordinators and preceptors in their role to provide the inservice needs of the facilities within their assigned geography.  Ensures that all programs for new employee orientation, preceptor training, AIM Day (Annual Inservice Marathon Day), Nurses Technical Training (NTT), as well as all clinical services, clinical leadership and UltraCare initiatives comply with the FMS standard. Works under the direction of the Business Unit Director of Training and Organizational Development, to ensure high quality of care for all FMS patients through competency-based training and development.  Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, and all regulatory and FMS policy requirements.

The Regional Director of Education position for NFL must be able to travel the areas of NFL reaching from St. Petersburg to Jacksonville, Gainsville and Orlando and many areas in between.

Minimum two years of secretarial or business experience with good typing, word processor and computer skills. 
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel (or other spreadsheet software), and PowerPoint preferred.

 EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent.

Regional Vice President
Supports FMCNA’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Responsible for running and growing a dialysis business within a defined region, through effective leadership and management of all aspects of customer service, quality patient care, marketing of FMS, and financial management. Maintains profitability and growth, while adhering to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and FMS policy requirements. Responsible for profit and loss management of facilities/programs within the assigned region, including optimal performance of facility operations to achieve or exceed budgets and key performance indicators. Trains and supports Area Managers regarding business goals and practices. Responsible for achievement of business plan, budget and key performance indicators and communication of same, to Area Manager, Clinical Manager, facility personnel and Medical Director as appropriate. Responsible for the development and implementation of a regional marketing plan to support regional growth and profitability, including facility renovation and expansion, new facility start-ups, identification and integration of acquisitions, and marketing of FMS services to potential referral services, in conjunction with the Business Development and Marketing Departments.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
At least 5 to 8 years experience in managing a business and leading large groups, preferably within a multi-facility healthcare network. Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position, including excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation, team building, motivating employees, performance management, and decision making. Demonstrated management skills necessary to provide leadership in the supervision of dialysis managers and personnel and to ensure the delivery of maximum quality care to all patients. Must complete FMS Management and Leadership training modules and ongoing training and development programs within the specified time line.

EDUCATION
Bachelor Degree in healthcare or business related field.
Advanced business education preferred.


Regulatory Compliance & Inventory Technician
Under supervision responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory to ensure appropriate and adequate supplies for assigned facilities within the centralized program.  Assists in ensuring that OSHA and other regulatory requirements are met.  Responsible for cost containment with regard to inventory control and maintenance of supplies.  Supports the FMCNA mission, vision, values, and customer service policy.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
At least six months experience working in an accounting/inventory setting.
Must demonstrate organizational and leadership skills, including those required to problem-solve in a medical, health care environment.

 EDUCATION
High school/vocational diploma or G.E.D., Technician training or AA Degree preferred.
Computer skills and knowledge of accounting principles preferred.

Renal Dietitian
Responsible for providing ongoing care for all nutrition aspects of pre ESRD, ESRD, PD and transplant patients. Responsible for comprehensive nutrition assessment including short term care plan and long-term program within one month of admission. Recommend appropriate feeding methods/formula or meal patterns. (i.e. IDPN, supplements). Responsible for developing or obtaining patient nutrition educations materials. Counsel patient, family, significant other or caregiver on prescribed diet and monitor adherence and response to therapy. Review monthly lab work on an individual basis and intervene as appropriate in collaboration with patient's physician.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
3 years experience in either renal nutrition or diabetes education.
Effective oral communication skills are essential.

Ability to travel with valid drivers license.

EDUCATION

Registered Dietitian.
Current state licensure if applicable.
Prefer membership to the American Dietetic Association and/or professional membership to a renal association i.e. CRN.

 

RN Educator
Assist in the support and delivery of all company policies and procedures.
Promote and assist with compliance to OSHA programs in order to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Provide training in safe, effective delivery of patient care that assures compliance with standards outlined in the facility procedure manual as well
as regulations set forth by state and federal agencies.  Participate in a program of education for all facility personnel.  Participate in direct patient care as necessary.

 Staff Related
 Schedule orientation for all direct patient care staff, reuse technical staff, and other facility personnel as required.
Assist in the development of instructional materials to assist new personnel in becoming oriented to facility and operational techniques.  Determine the effectiveness of orientation materials and procedures through direct observation, and in collaboration with the Inservice Coordinator or Director.
Assist in the annual evaluation and revision of the facility procedure manual as necessary.
Conduct special inservice classes for facility personnel to implement new procedures, policies, equipment, and patient care techniques.
Conduct enrichment classes for members of the facility patient care staff.
Plan, implement, and evaluate patient education programs in the facility.
Maintain an annual program for Employee CPR Certification.
Utilize cost-efficient measures with all training supplies.
Maintain library of books and educational materials for facility personnel.    Assist in the evaluation of inservice needs for the clinical staff.


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum of one year hemodialysis experience.
